Welcome to the NVvA website

The Nederlandsche Vereeniging van Antiquaren (NVvA: Dutch Association of Antiquarian Booksellers) is a professional association of about 60 dealers in old and rare books, prints and maps, established in 1935, so it is nearly 85 years old.

Members are strictly selected based on their professional knowledge and experience and are held to high standards of professional conduct.

The Maastricht Antiquarian Book and Print Fair (March 10-12)

Several of our members will be participating in the Maastricht Antiquarian Book and Print Fair, which will be held from March 10 to 12 at the Sint Janskerk. As usual, the fair coincides with the opening weekend of The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF), which also takes place in Maastricht.

The theme of the 15th edition is d’Artagnan, the real-life musketeer made famous by Alexandre Dumas. d’Artagnan, count Charles de Batz de Castelmore, was killed in 1673 in the service of Louis XIV during the siege of Maastricht.

All further details on the fair can be found on its website.
